DAY-01: AIRPORT – HOTEL (Emerald Garden or similair hotel)

Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport, welcome by your guide and then transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit to Medan city visit the Sultan’s Palace, the Great Mosque, the Chinese Temple and the Kesawan area “the old district of the city of Medan”. Return to the hotel

DAY-02: MEDAN – BUKIT LAWANG (Bukit Lawang Cottages / Rindu Alam Hotel) (Breakfast)

After breakfast drive to Bukit Lawang, en route stop for rubber and oil palm plantation, arrival at Bukit Lawang, check-in at the hotel, free afternoon at your leisure.


After breakfast we walk into the jungle to start a hike to explore the nature of the Leuser National Park with their flora and fauna, it is possible to see the Orangs-Utangs on their own natural habitat and other types animals such as Thomas leaf monkeys, long-tailed macaque, black gibbon and other types of flora and fauna of the tropical rainforest. This trek will take about 3 hours, after trekking back to the hotel.
Afternoon you can enjoy the nature of Bukit Lawang where you can also walk to the village around the hotel.

DAY-04: BUKIT LAWANG – BRASTAGI (Grand Mutiara Hotel / Sinabung Hills Hotel) (Breakfast)

After breakfast drive to Brastagi, en route stop at the Sembahe River, and passing through Sibolangit, and arrive in Brastagi we will visit the Lhumbini Park with its duplicate of Shwedagon Pagoda, then visit the Fruit Market and Gundaling Hill. Afternoon, installation at the hotel.


Today, the mountain climber will start climbing the Sibayak volcano in the morning and arrive at the summit of the Sibayak volcano by noon.After enjoying the fantastic view from the top of Sibayak and exploring the fauna and flora on the way back to Brastagi by other routes where you will reach the natural pool of “Lau Debuk-Debuk”, enjoy swimming on the sulphurous pool and return to the hotel in the afternoon.
“For non climbers, we will begin a guided tour to villages and farmers where you can see the daily life of the people of Batak Karo, experience how to plan vegetables, rice or picking fruit on the tree during the harvest.”

DAY-06: BRASTAGI – SAMOSIR / LAKE TOBA (Toledo Inn / Tabo Cottages / Samosir Villa) (Breakfast)

After breakfast, drive to Parapat, en route to visit the traditional village of Batak Karo in Dokan, stop at the Sipiso-piso waterfall, and stop at Rumah Bolon (Long House), the old palace of Kings Batak Simalungun and Simarjarunjung to see the magnificent view of Lake Toba. On arrival at Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by public ferry, arriving in Samosir check-in at the hotel.


Today, your guide will accompany you to explore the island of Samosir by motorbike where you can visit several traditional villages of Batak Toba such as:

  • Ambarita: see an old stone chair and tables, the meeting place of ancient kings Sialagan
  • Simanindo: see the Batak Toba Museum and the traditional Batak Toba dance.
  • Pangururan: to see the fantastic view of Lake Toba and its hot springs
  • Tomok: see the old stone tomb of Sidabutar Kings.

Like on the road, you can also see the daily activities of local people, such as working on the rice field, weaving by hand, visiting the school where young students study in this school and also a traditional ceremony such as a wedding party or a burial. Afternoon return to the hotel.

DAY-08: SAMOSIR – FREE DAY (Breakfast)

Today is a free time to relax, swim, sunbathe or walk in the villages and still go on a boat trip (Optional Tour).

DAY-09: SAMOSIR – SIPIROK (Hotel Tor Sibohi) (Breakfast)

After breakfast, return to Parapat by ferry and arrive at Parapat continuation of the circuit to Sipirok, going to pineapple plantatiin, clove and coffee plantation and visit the traditional market at Balige , stop at Sigur-gur and Sipoholon Hot Springs. DAY-10: SIPIROK – BUKITTINGGI (Royal Denai Hotel / Pusako Hotel) (Breakfast)

Afternoon, return to Bukittinggi via Padang Panjang and visit the village of Pandai Sikat to see the traditional hand weaving and woodcarving of Minangkabau.


After breakfast, drive to Puncak Lawang, en route visit to Koto Gadang village for its traditional money and arrival at Puncak Lawang start trekking towards Maninjau via Lawang jungle down to Lake Maninjau enjoying From the nature of the rainforest with the opportunity to see the macaques, black gibbon, birds and flora and fauna, arrival in Maninjau take a rest at the cafe or restaurant, while enjoying the lake. After breakfast drive to the village of Panampuang, it will take about 30 minutes by car from your hotel to Bukittinggi, arriving at Panampuang village visiting the traditional embroidery, then start the trip by bike to explore the villages where you will stop in the rice fields to see the farmers work on the rice process traditionally during rice planting or harvest time, you can also join the farmer while working on the rice field, then continue cycling to visit the school in the village and stay in touch with the villagers during their daily day, activities such as making traditional crafts or nibbling, you can also stop at the cafe in the village to try the traditional coffee and get in touch with Villagers at the café, because coffee is used by the villagers for social contacts. Afternoon, return to the hotel in Bukittinggi.


After breakfast departure to Padang via Anai Valley, en route stop to see Anai Waterfall, arrival in Padang, transfer directly to the airport. Tour ends
